Big news for the blog today. After three years of work, building up my idea from a handful of mind maps, teaching myself how to code and editing and revising until my eyes went blurry, I’ve finally done it. As of Tuesday 28th July, I’m officially a doctor! 🎉
I’m going to take a little time to celebrate and unwind, but expect more from me and the blog as we head into August.
As a belated update, I’ve had a lot of publications in the last few months. Most excitingly, my non-fiction piece Lizard Pizza was published in the final issue of Chaotic Merge and reprinted by The Broadkill Review. I love seeing a piece get new life after a publication becomes defunct!
An old poem of mine, Blaise Castle, which was written during lockdown in 2020, was also published by The Fools World, and looks great in the physical copy. I’ve also got a deeply personal poem upcoming in Southword in November, and hopefully some others for the end of the year.
